Game News.

 

Console Copy Process.

Last week we released the latest information around this month’s Console Copy Process, which includes an early, high level release plan in mind for the launch.
You can find the official post here.

Targeted testing is underway and things are going well. As we say, we'll keep you informed of our trajectory as we move closer to our launch window week.

As always, thank you for your feedback and for continuing to support one another with thoughts and suggestions on the official Elite Dangerous Forums in the dedicated post. We will continue to farm open questions and respond accordingly.

Naturally we’ll be back ahead of the week commencing September 12th with even more specifics.

 

'4.0'.

Additionally, we are preparing information around that of the expected ‘4.0’ process for Elite Dangerous Odyssey and Horizons. Just a little more time on this but we’ll be with you as soon as possible. Thanks, as always, for your patience.

 

Cosmetic Sale | Starts 05/09/2022 - Ends 20/09/2022.

As part of the Console Profile Copy Process post, we noted a reminder to Commanders that ARX balances cannot be transferred from Console to PC once a copy process has been actioned.
We also mentioned that to align with this, we would launch a Cosmetics Sale in the Elite Dangerous DLC store!

Well, today is the day! At approximately 12:00pm BST today, our sale will go live (please give a little grace period to allow for store to update around this time).

Discounts across the course of the sale will include:
•    45% off Ship Kits, Raider Packs, COVAS and Odyssey Weapon Skins.
•    30% off Paint Jobs and Weapon and Engine Colours.

Frameshift Live #16.

Commanders, there’s a date change for your diary!

Don’t worry, we’re trying not to get used to this and this has no reflection on anything Galaxy side (just a slight clash of personal circumstances): Frameshift Live this week will take place at 16:00 BST on Wednesday the 7th of September, as oppose to the usual Thursday slot many of you are used to.
We really hope this doesn’t conflict with your plans.

Hopefully we’ll be back to the usual time slot soon enough.
Twitch Drops are arranged where we’ll be offering all of the standard purple themed cosmetics, as well as the Diamondback Explorer Summer Night Blueberry paint job.

Community Events.

Event: FORMIDINE RIFT EXPEDITION (CONTINUES)
Dates: 03 Sep 2022 > 17 Sept 2022
Start Time: 5:00:00 PM (GMT+1)
End Time: 5:00:00 PM (GMT+1)
Location: Delphi, Carrier TAT Kosmos Gopiy (QBW-56V) near the station "The Oracle"
Summary: On September 3rd, Delphi will launch an expedition into the Formidine Rift. The carrier TAT Kosmos Gopiy (QBW-56V) will serve as the base for the entire duration of the expedition. The primary goal is further exploration and mapping of the sector.
Equipment will remain offline during the voyage, so please make sure your ships are already fully equipped. The shipyard will be online for the duration of the expedition. The planned route passes through some stellar nebulae and places of interest. Open for all players.
