Greetings Commanders,

Welcome once again to another weekly Discovery Scanner to swoop us into yet another week ahead in the Elite Dangerous Galaxy...and what a week, considering the latest events and happenings.

Game News

Following the release of Update 14, all of the Elite Dangerous teams would like to extend a huge 'thank you' to all Commanders for their thoughts, feedback and interaction following this quite monumental step forward in the shape and progression of The Galaxy.

We're aware of a number of issues reported since the update deployment and would like to reassure all that they have been noted.

As soon as we have more information on further actions based off feedback, we will of course let you know via our usual social channels, here on web and also via the News and Bulletins section of the Elite Dangerous Forums.

Galnet News Roundup

Speaking of latest news, the latest weekly drop of Galnet News Roundup went live last Friday.

Festive Twitch Drops

To celebrate the festive season, our Elite Partner Program creators will be offering exclusive paintjobs as Twitch Drops!

The Snowfall Party paintjobs will be available for the whole of December (1st to 31st:

Krait Phantom Snowfall Party – stream will need to be watched for 30 minutes.
Anaconda Snowfall Party – stream will need to be watched for a further 30 minutes (an hour in total).
Diamondback Explorer Snowfall Party – stream will need to be watched for a further hour (2 hours in total)

Not only for Partners!

There will also be an additional Twitch Drop available for everyone streaming Elite Dangerous, and that will be the Type-9 Snowfall Party! Viewers will need to watch 30 minutes of any participating stream to earn this.

We were delighted to see this wonderful creation along with the warmest of intentions behind it, gracing the Elite Dangerous community conversations over the course of the weekend.

"The Canonn council are delighted to have three members and Dr Arcanonn himself participate in a Christmas musical number this year to raise money for a wonderful charity, Special Effect."
