You’re making some incredible discoveries lately and we’re all enjoying the passion and enthusiasm that Commanders are putting into it all.

Game News

With the recent release of the Console Profile Copy process (Console Profile Copy Process | Release Plan - Elite Dangerous: Odyssey), we are pleased to be able to share with you the date of which the portal will open, player wide.

• The Console Profile Copy portal will be available to you on Tuesday the 13th of September (that’s tomorrow). We will follow up with the specifics, for example where to find the portal guide on the day.
• Please see the latest communication on the process in our Forum here.

It doesn’t stop there.

The much anticipated rollout of Odyssey and Horizons 4.0 is also scheduled for later this week, following shortly on from the Console Profile Copy portal release.

Further information in a standalone post on what to expect in terms of downtime and release scheduling for the 4.0 process will be released in good time of the exact date being shared.

Successful Mining Campaign Sustains Azimuth | 08 Sept 3308
A range of mined materials have been delivered to the LHS 157 system (approximately 850,053 tonnes delivered, in fact) to help Azimuth Biotech create new facilities.
Captain Maxim Lagunov, in command of the Glorious Prospect megaship, announced:
“This is the second time in recent weeks that our cargo bays have been stocked with vital supplies to sustain Azimuth’s future. These shipments of cobalt, gallite and osmium will be distributed to our manufacturing teams, and we hope to construct new permanent facilities in good time.”

Summary: Operation "Reforge Aegis" is the rallying cry of any remaining Aegis loyalists, fans, or potential financial backers to rally behind creating a independent Aegis through the "Aegis Research" faction.

Event: Passage To Andromeda Expedition Launch Event
Dates: 18 Sep 2022 (launch event. Expedition running until Devember 11 2022).
Start Time: 8:00:00 PM (GMT+1)
End Time: 10:00:00 PM (GMT+1)
Location: Lave
Summary: A voyage to the darkest depths, and the brightest parts of the Milky Way, and beyond!!!
Between September 18th and December 11th, Passage To Andromeda is a celebration of and a tribute to the exploration community of Elite itself. To all the pioneers, the event organisers, community project admins, the space crazy scouts, and most of all...you the explorers of Elite: Dangerous!

Requirements:

• We are an inclusive expedition, so we are flying in PC groups (Horizons 3.8 and Odyssey 4.0), and for consoles both PlayStation and Xbox are accommodated.
• It is recommended that you have a minimum of a 45ly range on your exploration ship.
