Player Events FAQ.
The Community Event Calendar has been designed to allow CMDRs to find player-led events, including activities such as mining, exploration, or PVP. If you cannot find an event that you wish to join, you can add your own event to the calendar.

What time zone should I use when creating an event?
Please ensure that you use UTC/GMT when registering an event. If you are not sure how to convert your time into GMT/UTC, you can use a web site such as this.
I have submitted my event; how will I know if it has been accepted?
Make sure to keep an eye on the Community Event Calendar on the days following your submission.
If your event submission has not been accepted, you will receive an email to let you know.
How long will it take for my event to appear on the calendar?
Please allow us up to 3 working days for your approved event to appear in the calendar.
Can I edit or remove my event after it has been submitted?
If you would like to make an amendment or cancel your event after it has been submitted, please use the button below to submit a request; providing information on the details you would like to change.
Can I sync this calendar with my personal calendar?
Each event can be added to your own personal calendar by following these instructions:
- Click on the event in the calendar to open the event information
- Click on the calendar icon in the bottom right of the event information window
- This will automatically download the ‘.ics’ file
- Import the .ics file into your local calendar
Can I create a recurring event in the calendar?
You cannot currently add a recurring event to the calendar. If you would like your event to recur regularly, please submit an event for each separate occasion.
